I hope all is going well in your lives! I just wanted to post a little update about our good friend Whitni. If you have not heard (and I am sure most of you have not) Whit was diagnosed with cancer a little before the Christmas holiday. I know it is unreal to hear such news. I just can't even believe it, mostly I wish it was not true! I don't know all of the details but I do know she has been in and out of the Huntsman center in Salt Lake and they have found that the cancer started in her uterus and has spread to her lungs and liver. She is currently receiving cemo right now and all are praying for a miracle. She is very tired and I think on oxygen as well sometimes so keep in mind she does not have a lot of energy to talk and answer phone calls right now. I just wanted to let you all know because I know how much we all love our friend Whitni. Keep her in your prayers and when I find out more I will try and keep you guys updated. As far as I understand the doctors are unsure if the current treatment will work and what really the prognosis at the moment. I guess all we can do right now is keep her in our prayers and hope for the best!

ReplyDeleteThis news just completely breaks my heart. Please keep us all updated and like everyone else said, let us know what we can do. Many of us are far away, but we are all thinking and praying for Whit!
ReplyDeleteI am shocked to hear this! I just texted her a couple days ago and she didn't mention a thing about it. I am heartbroken. We will for sure be praying and will fast for her. Benj and I are in Utah now so if we can send or do anything we would LOVE to. Just keep us posted. Thanks Marie!
